Forbes Japan, hosting its 6th annual award this year, ‘Forbes JAPAN 30 UNDER 30 2023,’ has appointed our representative, Takayasu Kuroda, to the advisory board for the ENTERTAINMENT & SPORTS category.

At the age of 27, Kuroda founded his company and has since produced major debut stages for virtual singers like Hatsune Miku, and internet-originated artists such as Kenshi Yonezu and LiSA. Drawing on this experience, he is responsible for recommending and advising candidates for the ‘Forbes JAPAN 30 UNDER 30 2023,’ identifying future leaders in entertainment at an early stage.

Message from Kuroda to the ‘UNDER 30’ Generation: I sometimes recall a saying I heard in economically booming Shanghai in 2017: ‘At 40, you’re already a senior.’ In today’s Japan, which records ‘the world’s lowest economic growth rate’ and declining international competitiveness, we expect disruptions caused by U30 leaders born from entirely different contexts than before. We aim to be challengers, not those who are eliminated, so I hope we can be on friendly terms.
